The School of Informatics and Mathematical Science, Faculty of Engineering, Kyoto University, provides comprehensive education and research, ranging from the basics to advanced fields, aiming at developing the people who pursue the essence of information, which is the foundation of advanced information society, and solve the actual problems of sophisticated systems through the thinking of mathematic science. Courses at the School of Informatics and Mathematical Science are taught by the faculty of the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University.
